Building the Future of How Things Are Made
We’re engineers, inventors, and builders who believe manufacturing is ready for a fundamental breakthrough. At Manifest, we’re not just improving 3D printing—we’re creating an entirely new way to make things.

Why We Exist
Our Mission
To unlock the full potential of additive manufacturing by breaking free from the constraints that have held the technology back for decades. We’re building the tools that will define how complex products are made in the age of mass customization and automated manufacturing.
Our Vision
A future where manufacturing lines can create any geometry, embed any component, and customize every product—without the limitations of layers, supports, or separate print farms.
What Drives Us
- Problem-First Thinking: We start with real manufacturing challenges, not cool technology looking for applications
- Production Focus: We’re building for 24/7 manufacturing environments, not prototype labs
- Open Ecosystem: Success comes from enabling our customers’ success not locking them into proprietary systems
- Long-term impact: We’re solving problems that matter for the next generation of American manufacturing
From University Research to Manufacturing Revolution
The Breakthrough
Our journey began in Professor Bob McLeod’s lab at the University of Colorado Boulder, where co-founders Camila Uzcategui and Johnny Hergert were pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing research. Instead of accepting the limitations of layer-by-layer printing, we asked: what if you could cure entire volumes simultaneously?
Finding the Market
After conducting over 150 customer discovery interviews, we realized that breakthrough technology needed real market validation. We evolved from Vitro3D, initially focused on tissue engineering, to Manifest—targeting manufacturing applications where speed, complexity, and customization matter most.
The Technology
Our first invention disclosure in 2019 laid the foundation for what became Parallax Volumetric Additive Manufacturing (P-VAM). This breakthrough approach uses sophisticated algorithms to create complete objects in one continuous step, breaking free from the constraints that have held additive manufacturing back.
Manifest was born out of the University of Colorado Boulder with a simple but powerful question: what if you could 3D print entire volumes instead of layer by layer in a scalable manner? That curiosity led to the creation of Parallax Volumetric Additive Manufacturing (P-VAM), a breakthrough platform that fabricates complex parts in a single, continuous step. After more than 200 customer interviews, we evolved from academic research to a commercial platform transforming how high-speed, high-precision manufacturing gets done where scalability, complexity, and customization matter most.

What P-VAM Makes Possible
We Build Together
We measure our success by our partners' success, forging deep, collaborative relationships to solve manufacturing's toughest challenges together.
We Take Ownership
We own our outcomes, not just our tasks, empowering every team member to proactively find solutions and take full accountability for the results.
We Think from First Principles
We challenge all assumptions and reject industry dogma, grounding our decisions in physics and data to build the most elegant and effective solution from the ground up.
We Ship Real Impact
We prioritize shipping reliable technology that solves real-world production problems, iterating based on manufacturing floor realities, not lab perfection
